Lelystad, 09 May 2025 – Uniphar is pleased to announce that Ron Woning has been appointed as Managing Director of BModesto Group and Uniphar On Demand Europe. Ron brings with him extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector, having held key positions at companies such as Stephar and Brocacef. Under his leadership, Uniphar On Demand will continue to expand in Europe, focused on and committed to improving the availability, affordability, and accessibility of global healthcare products.
Ron replaces Michael Hendriks in the role. Michael founded BModesto in 2014 and played a key role in its growth and development. When BModesto was acquired by Uniphar Group three years ago, he oversaw the integration of BModesto into Uniphar’s On Demand business and took on additional responsibilities as Managing Director of Uniphar On Demand Europe to spearhead the continued expansion of the business into mainland Europe.
Now that the integration has been successfully completed, Michael will hand over his duties and responsibilities as Managing Director of BModesto Group and Uniphar On Demand Europe to Ron Woning, effective 01 September 2025. Michael will remain with the On Demand business for a handover period to ensure a smooth transition.
